This is literally a crystal core opal.This large cabochon opal presents a stunning visual effect with a well marbled matrix that frames its clear crystal core. You can see through it. This gorgeous opal has a glistening liquid luster, and measures 28.6mm x 18.2mm x 7.3mm.This gem is untreated, and was sourced from the Koroit opal fields in the Paroo shire of southwest Australia.
