This rare beauty is by the Illinois Watch Company, c. 1887. It is in excellent condition throughout. The size 18s movement is serial number 701389, grade 4, model 3, and has 11 jewels. Only 2k were made. This transitional watch is lever set and crown wind, but a vestigial key-wind option remains. The case is quality coin silver, and it has a 24 hour dial. This watch is in good running order and weighs 150.5 grams.
