This rare tourmaline exhibits a collectors grade ruby red hue with a touch of violet in its undertone (just like rubies) that strengthens its rich color palette giving it more pronounced color. Its classic oval cut has wide facets that take full advantage of its superior luster and pops of cherry red flashing. This gem is considered a true rubellite, since its color palette is constant, and not influenced by changes in lighting. It measures 9.7mm x 8mm x 4.1mm and was sourced from Mozambique. UNTREATED!!!
