CLASSIC BURMESE FEATURES ANGULAR SHAPED HEAD, ELONGATED EARLOBES ROUND TRIANGULAR USHINA (HEAD TOP KNOT)THIS ENLIGHTENED BUDDHA HAS A SERENE AND PEACEFUL FACE.  CIRCA LATE 19TH CENTURY DEPICTS THE SHAN PERIOD (TAI YAI) PERIOD. STATUE WAS PREVIOUSLY MUSEUM DISPLAYED. ORIGIN: BURMA (MODERN DAY MYANMAR) MATERIAL: BRONZE ALLOY, AGE RELATED WEAR. NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS. GOLD GILDING REMAINS ON STATUE.
