When casually observed, this garnet has a silky black amber body color, but when held to the light, you can see deep red tones with internal characteristics that resemble glowing embers through its quietly translucent body. When worn in the sunlight, you will get shadows of this red through its body. This piece has fantastic size for its gem type measuring a whopping 15mm x 13.2mm x 9.3mm, and every facet glistens under its superior luster. It's deep body color makes it perfect for both formal and casual wear. Sourced from Namibia. Untreated!!!
