Jose Ferr?ndiz was born in Alcoy, a province of Alicante, near the Mediterranean Sea in the southeast of Spain. Many illustrious painters hail from this inspiring region that is home to this vast colorful landscape, and it was in his community in which Ferr?ndiz learned to paint at a young age. His love of art was instilled in him as a child by his grandfather, who taught Ferr?ndiz, along with his brothers Guillermo and Marc Esteve, how to paint from nature. Inspired by the views of his homeland, Ferr?ndiz specializes in landscapes and seascapes. He enjoys focusing on figures in motion with almost abstracted format.
