Somehow, dating from three years before Carl Benz invented his car and 20 years before the Wright Brothers flew their airplane, this c. 1883 Waltham timepiece escaped the ravages of its 140 years with aplomb. It is in the excellent condition shown. Its case is coin silver, and its dial and beveled crystal are flawless. The size 18s, "modern" pendant set, full-plate movement is serial number 7298091 and has seven jewels. This watch is in in good working order and weighs 164.8 grams.
