In hand this piece has bright play of color, with fiery oranges and electric reds and yellows with touches of green. It features a well blended mix of floral and pinfire patterns that smolder in low light and dazzle in bright light. The play of color is constant. Measuring 9.9mm x 7.4mm x 4.1mm, this example has a low dome cabochon cut giving it incredible surface area, and a pearlescent luster that glows over its smooth surface. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia. Untreated!
