This 18k yellow gold watch is from the Swiss prestige watchmaker Mathey-Tissot, c. 1950s. It is serial number 225569 and has their QZO movement turning on 17 jewels. The case and crystal are in excellent condition, and it is in fine working order. There is a misplacement of the seven and eight o'clock dial indexes, from a previous repair, that were not corrected (see detail). It has a replacement expansion band. It includes its original box with documents. Massey-Tissot has been a premier Swiss watchmaker and multiple award winner since 1886. This watch weighs, sans box, 46.5 grams.
