This gorgeous timepiece is by Waltham, serial number 2514525. It is in phenomenal, like-new condition. Their company leger shows that it was produced between October 1877 and April 1885. It is grade P.S. (Patten Sargeant) Bartlett, model 1877. Its size 18s, lever-set movement spins on 15 jewels. The flawless Silverode case features a crisp train motif. Patten Sargeant Bartlett was an early employee of the Boston Watch Company, a precursor to the Waltham Company. This watch is in fine working order and weighs 164.1 grams.
