Rockwell began watchmaking in 1876. This is their first watch, their model 1, made in 1878. In coin silver, this timepiece is in very good condition. It has no dents and only minimal abrasions. The beveled crystal is lightly abraded as shown. The porcelain dial is pristine. This key-wind and set watch has 17 jewels and is size 18S. A key is included. Please note that this transitional case has a faux crown for aesthetics only (nonfunctional). This watch is in good working order and weighs a substantial 184.8 grams
