In the 1920s, Zamora successively produced posters for the Casino of Paris, the Bataclan, the Mogador Theatre, the Moulin Rouge and the Folies Bergères. From 1921 to July 1922, he created a fashion section in the magazine "Nuevo Mundo" under the title "La Gaceta del Buen Tono".
His long, colourful and whimsical magazine figures are the plastic of the crazy 1920s. José Zamora has strongly influenced the graphic arts, especially the artists Antonio Juez, Julio Antonio and Víctor Cortezo.
