In hand this piece has much stronger play of color than in the pictures, exploding in fiery pinks and reds, electric greens and vibrant oranges and yellows. It features a full floral pattern that smolders in low light and dazzles in bright light. The play of color is constant. Measuring 9.5mm x 6.7mm x 3.9mm, this example has a low dome cabochon cut giving it incredible surface area, and a pearlescent luster that glows over its smooth surface. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
