This rare unheated Tanzanian spinel displays a stunning deep red hue with pops of violet flashing. The juxtoposition between the rich body color and flashing really makes this gem pop, and it is accented by a superior luster that casts shades of black cherry adding depth to its color palette. This very clean example measures 8.6mm x 7mm x 3.7mm.
