The tight faceting and, high refraction and superior luster of this piece are combined to create a dazzling high fire display that explodes through its vibrant platinum pink hue. It has incredible size, measuring 11.3mm x 9.2mm x 7.9mm, and a Mohs hardness rating of 7 out of 10, making it perfect for setting. Sometimes refered to as the midnight sapphire, Kunzite is perfect for evening wear, but should not be worn or displayed in the sun. Sourced from Afganistan. Unheated!
