This is an original oil on canvas by contemporary Russian master Barashkov Maksim. This artwork comes unframed and the actual canvas is larger than 12x16 inches. This artwork is hand signed by the artist. Barashkov Maksim was born in Russia in 1963, in the Yaroslavl region. He is a third-generation painter as his father and grandfather are well renowned Russian painters. Although he never attended art school, he is a self-taught artist continuing the family tradition of painting detailed and colorful Russian landscapes. He has exhibited in important galleries in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, and Samara.
