The superb glistening luster and excellent cut of this gem combine to give it a liquid quality, creating flowing non-stop flashing that amplifies its vibrant golden color. Sometimes refered to as golden emerald, this pure beryl was sourced from Brazil, and is the base for all emeralds, aquamarines, morganites, and the super rare bixbite. It has all the finest qualities of these gems with a highly desired golden hue. It has incredible size, measuring 14.1mm x 7.1mm x 4mm, and a Mohs hardness rating of 7.5-8 out of 10 making it perfect for setting. This is an untreated example.
