This is a fantastic gemstone featuring a velvety blood red hue accented by its superior mirror luster. This large example was sourced from Mozambique, and has a pendant cut measuring 13.7mm x 11.3mm x 5mm giving it a larger sufrace area, while its rich saturation ensures no color loss. This ruby was heat treated, evident by the presence of lead bearing glass.
