The bull was created with a flair of expressionism trying to evoke or demonstrate an emotional experience. The lines and texture of the sculpture surface, seem somewhat unfinished, allowing for the emotional essence of the bull to come forward, vibrating the outer contours of its form. He stands alert and defiant as he shoots an air of boldness out of his eyes towards the beholder. There are many symbolic meanings for the bull. Some are stability, virility, strength, reliability, provision, peacefulness, helpfulness, and determination. The bronze sculpture was molded using the ancient method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation and is mounted upon a marble base.
