Lot Details
Bullfighting is a traditional spectacle of Spain, Portugal, some cities in southern France and in several Latin American countries. It can be considered a blood sport for both the bull or the brave matador that faces it in the ring. It is safe to say that this bull has won his match. He soars high, as he kicks his hind legs back, sending the cape that he charged through, flailing into the air. We are left to wonder where the matador of the cape went. With careful attention paid to detail, you can see the sharp ends of his horns and the folds of his thick skin. This brown patina sculpture was cast using the Lost Wax Method and mounted on a marble base. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 17 X Width 12 inches. Weight: 18 LBS.
Size: 12x12x17
