The malaya garnet gets its name from the word "malaia", which is Swahili for "out of family" due to its unique color and mineral attributes. This stunning set features a resting canary yellow to mandarin orange hue that reveals shifts to slight green in low light, and touches of rich orange in LED and brighter light. They have tightly cut overlapping facets giving them brilliant tightly patterned glitter flashing, and are covered by vitreous lusters. The rare color palette of these gems combined with their cut and size makes these highly unique garnets a must for collectors and connoisseurs.
