This is a very interesting example of untreated tanzanite. It has an emerald cut with nice symmetry, but the natural color striations give it an off center look in bright light. Its violet blue hue is rich with open color, and the superior luster of this piece glistens over its smooth cut surface. This tanzanite measures 8.8mm x 6.3mm x 5.8mm. Unheated!
