This opal looks like a rainbow disco ball, showing a honey comb pattern that even flashes in low light! The size of the pattern is influenced by its light source, creating both wide and small panel flashing that is suspended through its translucent body, and shines in vibrant reds, oranges, pinks, yellows and greens. This fully faceted high fire example measures 11mm x 8.3mm x 5.1mm, and has a rich body color that enhances its play of color. Sourced form Welo, Ethiopia. Untreated!
