This is a bust of a unknown German soldier. The German Army is the land component of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany. Following the disbanding of the Wehrmacht after World War II. it was re-established in 1955 as the Bundesheer, part of the newly formed West German Bundeswehr along with the Navy and the Air Force. In the aftermath of the German reunification of 1990, the National People's Army of the former German Deocratic Republic was integrated into the West German Army. This piece is 100% and handmade. This brown patina was cast using the "lost wax method". Condition: This sculpture is in perfect condition.
