Rare Size Lovely Large Hand Woven Vintage Tabriz Rug. 100% Natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, silk blend, finest hand spun baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation. This is a striking and majestic all-over Shah-Abbasi floral pattern with glowing silk blend baby lamb's wool of superior quality which gives a lustrous appearance of utmost beauty. The expression "all-over" is referred to rugs with designs that repeat themselves over and over again. The advantage is that furniture can be placed anywhere on the rug without disrupting the pattern. The leather band sewn on the edge at the back of this rug is to keep the edges from curling under due to the extreme tightness of the weave. Creases are due to fold and not a defect.
