Artist statement: My work captures the magic and emotions of this fantastic world. My landscapes of silent streets are composed of certain poetry. I enrich my palette with vibrant color which begins my painting ritual, and gives my collages their shape and fills the space like an appropriate silence. My urban landscapes require the magic of silence. I observe hints of light in every corner, yet in the shade there is a greater color quality richer than the light itself. In between the gray tones my hand translates what my body feels, but there is a special moment when the image decides itself through notes of vivacious color in constant movement. I feel possessed to not break the silence around me, but to breathe deeply and share with you my feelings."
