Rosa Ripoll was born in Alcoy in 1968. Her vocation to be an artist was highlighted during her time as a student at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in her hometown, where she attended from 1989 until 1999 and received numerous awards and accolades. Continuing her training in Spain, she completed art and art history courses including Impressionism to Surrealism, Contemporary Realism, “Colors of the Skin” taught by painter Guillermo Oyaguez in Madrid, and “Natural Nudes and Still Lifes” taught by artist Golucho in Alcoy.
Recently she participated in the “Artists for Human Rights” book edited by Unesco. She has also exhibited in various galleries in Spain including Galeria Juan XXIII (Palma de Mallorca), Galeria Major 43 (Concentaina), Galeria Kroma (Menorca), Galeria Segrelles (Valencia), Galeria Puchol (Valencia), Galeria Sfera (Benidorm), Galeria Skimo (Madrid), University of Alicante, Sala Cam (Alcoy), the Paper Museum of Valencia, Unesco, Cultural Center of Alcoy, Cultural Center of Onil, Industrial Center of Alcoy, and the Cultural Center of Biar.
Ripoll was also a finalist in the BMW Painting Contest (Madrid), the City of Alcoy Painting Contest, and the Casino Painting Contest in Novelda. She has also been a finalist in contests such as the Eusebio Sempere (Onil), Casimiro Sainz (Cantabria), Gaceta Regional (Salamanca), Royal Premier (Malaga), Pastor Calpena (Aspe), and Toledo Puche (Mucia).
She currently lives and works in her hometown of Alcoy.
