Ascending Ladder SPECIMEN
B 23456789 A
This near-gem fancy ten has an attractive and ascending serial number. Beginning with 2 and ending with 9, this serial number bears eight unique, sequential digits and is housed in a PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 holder. Specimen is printed in red in two places on each the face and the back. Prior to the release of new designs, specimens such as these have been sent to dignitaries as a token of appreciation and to aid in the detection of bogus money. Multiple denominations and districts exist, but as these are such a coveted item in the industry, not many opportunities exist to acquire these.
