The color of this tanzanite is beyond amazing. It has a highly sought after blue violet D block color that is becoming harder and harder to find. And although heating is a perfectly acceptable industry standard and performed on most tanzanite, this example is unheated, and is the exact color of the raw crystal when it was mined. It has the trademark tanzanite mirror luster giving it a superior sheen, and rich even color saturation. Measuring 8mm x 7.7mm x 6.3mm, it has fantastic size, and was sourced from Tanzania.
