This is an amazing example of included quartz. You have a visual feast of internal characteristics, from feathers to chlorite to golden rutilation. It even has bubble formations that look like they could be enhydro. ( Enhydro is the term used when water becomes trapped during crystal formation. ) And to top it all off, it measures a mammoth 180mm x 55mm x 49mm, and weighs 2 pounds, so everything can be seen in fine detail! This substantial piece was sourced from Brazil, and is untreated.
