This opal is not to be missed! Heating is the most common treatment for Welo Opals to create their darker hues, but this extremely rare example is unheated. It has full cover play of color that glitters and pops in a non stop display. It has a silky black hue with a glistening liquid luster, and strong flashing that errupts in well defined reds, oranges, yellows and green. In the right lighting you can even observe rich violets and touches of blue. It measures an impressive 20.2mm x 17.7mm x 5mm, and has a low dome cabochon cut giving it a larger surface area and making it perfect for setting.
