Handmade Vintage Royal Persian Tehran Rug. Made of all natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, hand spun, softest baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation. Tehran being the capital and the commercial center of Iran has never been a center for rug production. However, the few that are woven are of extreme high quality and artistic workmanship, making them among the most desirable and sought after Persian rugs. This royal Tehran has a glowing and lively appearance due to its high quality baby lambs wool pile. Creases are due to fold and not a defect.
