The young mother kneels on the hearth of Mother Earth cradling her newborn child. She stares down in a revered awe at the purity and innocence found in the sleeping face of her bundled child. Quietly and slowly, she falls in love with life all over again, as it seems to become brand new and full of wonder. The Bronze Sculpture was cast using the ancient lost wax method and stained with a brown patina finish. The mother and child are mounted upon a black marble base. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 5 X Width 4 inches. Weight: 2 LBS.
