It has a strong red hue with a violet undertone giving it a beautiful depth of color, and a semi-opaque body. The double checker board cut of this piece glows under its superior luster, that twinkles off of every facet. Measuring 15.5mm x 12mm x 6.5mm, it has incredible size, and a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10 making it perfect for setting.
