This is just a great all around gemstone! Cut from pure Australian sapphire crystal, this piece shows a rich blue green hue with a gray cast that really deepens its tone. This dark color palette plays well against the glittering green flashing that cascades down the gem and collects at the bottom, no matter which side you have facing down. Hold it up traditionally, and the flashing curves around the bottom. Hold it upside down, and the flashing concentrates around the tip. And you will be surprised at just how green the flashing is when compared to its body color! It measures 7.5mm x 5mm x 3.7mm with a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10, so you can wear this very unique sapphire anywhere! And it's untreated!
