This lot includes ten fossilized tail sections from Coronocephalus jastrowi, an extinct trilobite species from the order Phacopida. These marine arthropods lived during the Paleozoic era and are part of one of the earliest and longest-lasting groups of complex life in the fossil record. Each fossil varies naturally in size, color, and preservation, with average measurements of approximately 1 11/16 x 1 1/2 x 7/16 inches and an average weight of 1.1 to 1.8 ounces per piece. This lot will contain 10 random selection and will differ each in shape and size.
