This is a 1.88ct pair of VS-VVS ruby red Burmese Spinel!!!
Gem and jewelry collectors alert! Ladies and gentlemen, these are the real deal. Presented here are a pair of rare Burmese spinel that exhibit rich ruby red hues with silky violet undertones, medium to strong saturation, and deep tones. These are the kind of spinels that were set in royal jewelry and thought to be rubies. And the crazy part is, they are all natural with no treatments! The cushion cuts of these gems show beautiful symmetry resulting in vibrant pops of glittering cherry red flashing, and the lusters are so highly polished that they cast decadent black cherry shadows through their bodies. And the whole display is captured in VS-VVS clarity. They are closely matched in size measure 6x5.5mm to 6x5.8mm each. Burmese spinel of this size with this level of cut, color, and clarity sell for premium prices, and these could easily cost you from $800 to $1,000 a carat before they are even set! And with a Mohs hardness rating of 8 out of 10, these aren't just seasonal gems, they are generational gems. Sourced from Myanmar. (Formerly Burma) UNTREATED!!!!!!
Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate. Listed gemstones are greatly magnified, and minor details that present themselves in the photo may not be visible with the naked eye. There may be slight color differences due to individual monitor settings and capabilities. *Except for topaz. As irradiation is the standard treatment for this gem type, they should be assumed to be as such, unless stated otherwise in the description.
