This gemstone is a stunner! It was cut from pure Australian sapphire, and is unheated/untreated. Just pure sapphire. And although Australia is known for its parti sapphires and gorgeous mixes of blue and green, this unique example is all London blue all day long. With a touch of green for good measure, it is Australian after all. The color of this piece is strong, but it retains open color and preferred medium saturation through eye clean clarity!  And it has a premium polished luster! This sapphire solitaire measures 5.3mm x 5.3mm x 2.7mm, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10.
