Rare collectors 7.02ct WHITE Orthoclase!
Orthoclase is a very interesting gemstone. The mineral itself is abundant, but gem grade material is very rare, with most of it coming out of Madagascar, which is where this example is from. That being said, out of all of the examples of gem grade orthoclase, white is among the rarest. Even more so if its clean. And this example is both white and clean, with the added addition of being just over 7 carats! This example exhibits pristine VS clarity highlighted by its large open table, and glittering framed flashing. It measures a whopping 15.5mm x 11.5mm x 6.5mm and is a must for any gem collector. And with prices ranging from $20 dollars a carat for smaller offerings all the way up to $120 a carat for larger cleaner examples, you won't want to pass this one up!
Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate. Listed gemstones are greatly magnified, and minor details that present themselves in the photo may not be visible with the naked eye. There may be slight color differences due to individual monitor settings and capabilities. *Except for topaz. As irradiation is the standard treatment for this gem type, they should be assumed to be as such, unless stated otherwise in the description.
