This traditional Cretan dagger is in excellent condition. The intricately chased 7-3/4 inch sheath tests as .925 silver and includes dragon, floral, and Crete island motifs. A 5 lepta Cretan coin from 1990 hangs from its chain. The 11 inch dagger features a 6-1/4 inch steel blade, .925 silver bolster and chased inserts, and a natural bone handle. The dagger an sheath are 12 inches overall. In ethnic attire, these daggers are displayed tucked under the sash at the waist. The rare dagger and sheath weigh 215.9 grams.
