This c. 1911 Illinois watch was a private label produced for the largest mail order and department store of the day, Montgomery Ward & Co. It is their Washington Watch Co.'s Liberty Bell model. The serial number 2315475 Illinois lever-set movement is grade 69, model 6, spins on 17 jewels, and is size 18s. Its case shows moderate wear and minor dents with no brassing. The crystal has the minor scratching shown. The dial has multiple hairline cracks at 8 o'clock. This watch is in good running condition and weighs 116.2 grams.
