Colonial Currency was printed before 1800's by 13 colonies and the state of Vermont.  Colonial notes have several different vignettes.  These vignettes had different motto's and themes reflecting the different characteristics of the issuing colony.
 
Two Dollars from Philadelphia dated November 2, 1776.
Faint signature of Benjamin Levy, the only signer of Jewish faith.
