This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled “The Flight into Eypgt” (year of original 1653).
Image size is 8-1/2″ x 11″. With border measures 14.5″ x 18.5″. On Somerset paper.
This etching is embossed with the Amand Durand stamp. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Ref. #56 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc.
This piece is in mint condition, and has never been framed.
