This rare set of collectors opals were cut from pure Ethiopian crystal, and although heating is the accepted treatment for opals from this region to enrich their color, these 9 opals are untreated. They have incredibly rich black hues with glistening liquid lusters, and pops of smoldering play of color. These gems are well matched in size measuring 6mm each, and have semi-translucent bodies.
