Everyone knows that blue ( indicolite ) and red ( rubellite ) tourmaline are very rare, but have you ever seen clear tourmaline? This is 1.09 carats of achoirite ( clear ) tourmaline, and it is breath taking. Sourced from Mozambique, this rare variety has a diamond white hue with just the faintest touch of an undertone. Sometimes you will swear you see blue in it, and sometimes yellow, depending on the lighting and what colors are around to influence it. It is well cut with an an open table, creating a halo of pave flashing, and it exhibits eye clarity. It measures 7.2mm x 6.1mm x 3.5mm, and is UNTREATED! This boutique gem is a must for collectors.
