This is a beautifully sculpted piece of a lion and a serpent in the standoff. The majestic male lion, irritated by the hissing venomous threats of the snake, bends down, cowering over the coiling snake, letting him know his intimidating size. Drawing back deep into a chest he pushes out a terrible roar into the retreating snakes face. The handmade Bronze Sculpture was molded using the ancient method of lost wax casting and finished with a brown patina finish for preservation and is mounted upon a marble base. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 14 X Width 16 inches. Weight: 45 LBS.
