100 Nicer 1943 Steel Cents.  Stock Photo. Another from a decent grouping of steel cents with some uncs and nicer ones seen . No pasty white or rust. Should be some D and S mint in there as well.  There was a dire need for copper so they substituted steel which was cheap and plentiful at the time. Must have had problems with the dies so they resumed copper the next year Neat WW11 collectible seen in many museum displays with ration books and war bond posters
