Item is in excellent condition and has only been displayed in a gallery setting. The painting includes a stainless steel frame that has a built-in black light. The framed dimensions are approximately 52 x 60 inches. The black light heightens the color experience of Meda's paintings. Massimo Meda was born in Virmercate, Italy in 1959. He is an accomplished painter-even developing his own type of paint as well as a professor of music. Meda has a certain philosophy toward art, Synaesthesia. Synaesthesia is the art of translating feelings and emotions from one artistic language into another. Meda has spent a lifetime contemplating this idea. The result is a totally new medium that combines painting and sculpture into one, a sculpture on a canvas. Meda?s exciting and vibrant subjects pull an audience in with his endless rolling tulip fields under indigo skies and race cars that vibrate the canvas with dramatic color and speed. The amount of time each of Meda?s works takes to complete largely limits their availability. For this reason, his paintings are found in very few galleries world- wide; however, they are so unique they have managed to find collectors around the globe. His paintings have sold to collectors in Italy and adjoining European nations as well as Japan and America. Meda describes his artistic goal as being able to share with his audience the emotions he felt while he was painting.
